On Thursday July 16th, Ana Álvarez together with actor Martin Sheen and other important Spanish actors, participated on the play "SPEAK THRUTH TO POWER" of Ariel Dorfman.

"Speak truth to power" is based on Kerry Kennedy´s book. It´s a tribute to all those activists who defend with their own lives human rights all around the world.

The performance took place in El Escorial Auditorium as part of University Complutense´s course "Justice and human rights; from frustration to hope" by internationally renounded Judge Baltasar Garzón.

Martin Sheen, Ana Álvarez, Jordi Dauder, Eusebio Lázaro, Ramón Langa, Carmen Estévez (american actor´s sister), Maria José Goyanes, Marta Beláustegui, Ruth Gabriel y Antonio Hortelano gave their own voices to the words of the human rights activists portraid in the book and the play.
